Leeds United team news as Joel Piroe may now miss Ipswich clash
New summer signing from Swansea Joel Piroe may not be available as Leeds United take on Ipswich Town on Saturday, according to Phil Hay.
The Athletic journalist wrote in the pre-match blog on 26 August that despite signing for Leeds earlier this week, the club were facing a rush to get his paperwork in time for the game.
Per the rules, he had to be registered by midday on Friday and if that did not happen, he would be ineligible for this game.

Hay wrote, “Joel Piroe signed from Swansea on Thursday night but Leeds were facing a rush to get his paperwork through in time so it won’t be a surprise if he isn’t involved today.”
Need him
Leeds desperately need a lethal goal scorer to take on Ipswich and having Piore in the squad will be a massive boost.
While Daniel Farke may hesitate to throw him straight into the eleven after just one proper training session, he can be a good option to have on the bench.
His dynamism against tired legs could give Leeds the edge especially if they’re chasing the game or need a goal to secure the three points.

Ipswich have been among the best teams in the league this season and playing them at their home ground is never going to be easy.
Kieran McKenna has proven himself to be an extremely adapt head coach and Farke’s going to have to ensure his players are at their best to get the win.
Most Leeds fans and perhaps even the German will take a draw ahead of kick-off given how the season has started for the Whites.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites have now emerged as favourites to sign a Premier League player likened to Lionel Messi.
