Leeds United team news as Daniel Farke set to miss up to 10 players for Manchester United clash
Leeds United are set to be without up to 10 players for their pre-season friendly clash with Manchester United, according to Leeds Live.
The publication noted that Daniel Farke will welcome a group of players that were involved in international duty back for pre-season training on Monday (10 July)
The rest of the squad got underway last Monday (3 July) and will travel to Oslo to play Manchester United on Wednesday (12 July), with the new arrivals staying behind to train.

“Daniel Farke is expected to welcome up to 10 Leeds United players back for pre-season training this morning,” according to Leeds Live.
“The Whites got pre-season underway last Monday as a handful of key men returned to West Yorkshire for the first time since the club’s relegation from the Premier League in May.”
Discussing the Manchester United clash, Leeds Live added: “The squad for that one will be made up by those who were in on day one as the late returnees get to work on the training ground.”

Back to work
A large group of Leeds players are set to return to Elland Road after their break, which is certainly understandable given how they were forced into a very long season thanks to the recent international fixtures.
Several key figures are among that group, including the likes of Rodrigo, Max Wober, Dan James, Wilfried Gnonto and Crysencio Summerville.
Despite many of their futures at Elland Road being uncertain, the players are still expected back at Thorp Arch for testing ahead of the new Championship season.
How long they hang around for is anyone’s guess, but they should still be keen to get up and running once more after last season’s disappointing relegation from the Premier League.
Farke will no doubt get a good look at the players on the training ground, but he has perhaps already made his mind up for the group that he will take for the exciting clash against old enemies Manchester United in Oslo.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites are trying their luck on a deal to sign an “extremely smart” defender, but the selling club wants a permanent move for the player.
