Leeds United target Seko Fofana has switched agents in the final month of the transfer window which could be an indication of a potential transfer.

Player representative agency Sport Cover made the move official when they took to Instagram to announce that they had signed the Lens midfielder.

The agency is led by Meissa N’Diaye, and it manages the interests of Wissam Ben Yedder, Michy Batshuayi, Geoffrey Kondogbia, Sofiane Boufal and Nordi Mukiele. [Foot Mercato]

Newcastle World posted in April 2022, that Leeds, along with a host of other Premier League clubs are monitoring the services of the Ivory Coast international.

However, none seemed to have taken their interest any further but could now enter the fray as he’s changed his representation.

If players make such drastic moves in the middle of transfer windows, it’s usually because they want a move in the coming weeks.

Any transfer will benefit both the player and his agents and hence, we could some movement in the next few days.

Leeds may have signed two midfielders already but are unsure about Mateusz Klich’s future.

Adam Forshaw’s injury record also makes him rather unreliable while Stuart Dallas is still recovering from a long-term absence.

There’s a good chance that the Whites may need to sign a new midfielder either now or in the January window apart from a striker and left-back and it remains to be seen if Fofana is a player they revisit again.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites now have a clear run to sign a £20m-rated left-back as their Premier League rivals have now bowed out of the race.
