Leeds United target Ryan Nyambe set to be free agent this summer
Leeds United can sign Blackburn Rovers full-back Ryan Nyambe for free this summer as he’s unlikely to be given a new deal.
According to The 72, the 24-year-old will not be signing a new contract at Ewood Park at the end of the season.
The Whites and Southampton were understood to be keen on signing the Namibia international in January and were told to cough up a £3million fee.

Worth signing
Leeds have a lack of full-backs in their side and still thought that loaning Cody Drameh and Leif Davis was a good idea.
That said, what’s done is done, and they now have a chance to right their wrongs in the summer.
Nyambe may not be killing it in the Championship, but he is a good player to have in reserve.
Rather than calling on academy players during injury crises, it makes more sense to hand senior names the opportunity to fight for their spot in the team.

He has been labelled as a ‘defiant’ player by the Lancashire Telegraph, who have tracked him in every game he’s played for Blackburn.
He’s also been deployed at centre-back on occasion by Tony Mowbray which is similar to what Luke Ayling has been doing over the last two seasons.
Having attack-minded full-backs aware of their defensive roles is precisely what managers want and Nyambe could be a revelation under Jesse Marsch.
