Leeds United target Jed Wallace pushing for Millwall exit

Millwall attacking midfielder cum winger Jed Wallace is reportedly pushing for an exit in January amid links to Leeds United.

According to The Sun, people close to the 27-year-old believe that he is set to leave in the January transfer window.

The News claim that Leeds are keen on his services, but the aforementioned report also mentions interest from the likes of Watford, Middlesbrough, Nottingham Forest and Besiktas as well.

Snap him up

Millwall do not appear keen on letting go of him, but his contract expires in the summer and he desperately wants a way out of the Den.

It would be beneficial for them also to cash in on his services as they would get nothing when he leaves in June.

Given the number of clubs interested in the 27-year-old versatile ace, Millwall could also spark a bidding war.

Wallace, who was once dubbed unbelievable by manager Gary Rowett, has impressed for a number of years in the Championship and believes that his time has come to play for a bigger club.

He could be a terrific addition for Leeds as not only is he capable of slotting into midfield, he can play on the wings too.

The Whites have eyed a central midfielder for a while but they’ve also needed players to fill in the wide positions given the number of injuries.

The fact that he’s in his final six months means that he could be available for a discounted price and Victor Orta needs to snap him up.
