Leeds United takeover breakthrough emerges amid Daniel Farke official news at Elland Road
The Leeds United takeover from 49ers Enterprises has been completed, pending EFL approval, with the club appointing Daniel Farke as their new manager, according to The Daily Telegraph journalist Mike McGrath.
As per Phil Hay (3 July), talks had been underway over terms with the German and his coaching staff to get them in place at the club this week.
The 49ers Enterprises takeover meanwhile has been in place for some time, with McGrath now confirming that it has finally been completed.

“Leeds United takeover completed and Daniel Farke appointed as manager,” McGrath wrote on Twitter.
McGrath later clarified: “Clarification on this Tweet. Takeover is pending EFL approval, which should be soon.”
Double boost
Leeds supporters have had to deal with constant bad news in recent times, with their relegation from the Premier League making all their issues so much worse.
There has since been constant news of player exits, takeover delays and managerial links. But two of those three areas have now seemingly been put to bed, in what is a fantastic update for Whites fans.
Farke has plenty of experience in the division, and his tactical nous may just be enough to guide the West Yorkshire club back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
His appointment will allow the Whites to really get going on the training ground and prepare for the new season, and his job has just become a whole lot easier with the completion of the takeover.
Of course the finer details may still need to be ironed out, such as what the club will look like in years to come, but it means they can start planning on key issues such as player incomings ahead of the new campaign.
In other Leeds United news, one manager is now ready to exchange documents to sign one Whites player.
