Leeds United clinch massive three points against Leicester City at Elland Road
It was an interesting round of fixtures in the Championship to say the least, with Elland Road kicking things off with the top-of-the-table clash under the lights on Friday.
And it was the hosts who came out on top, despite Wout Faes putting the visitors ahead after just 15 minutes.
The Elland Road faithful were perhaps fearing the worst, particularly given how their team was unable to break down the Foxes for the majority of the game.
But the constant pressure finally paid off as Connor Roberts equalised in the 80th minute, with Archie Gray then turning the game on its head just three minutes later.
Patrick Bamford then secured the win in added time, much to the delight of the boisterous Leeds supporters.
The Whites were then handed a real boost on Saturday (24 February) as Southampton lost 2-1 at home to Millwall.

Farke’s side have now cut Leicester’s lead at the top to just six points, with the Whites level on 72 points with Ipswich Town after their 3-1 win over Birmingham on Saturday.
