Leeds United fans have pulled no punches in their assessment of Tyler Roberts’ performance in Tuesday night’s League Cup loss at Arsenal.
Roberts, 22, was handed a rare start by Marcelo Bielsa at the Emirates Stadium, but the Wales international was ineffectual before being substituted in the 53rd minute.
It was the latest underwhelming display for Roberts who has previously drawn the ire of Leeds supporters who believe he is not good enough for the Premier League.

Indeed, LeedsLive journalist Beren Cross shared a moment that left Bielsa unhappy on the touchline against the Gunners, with Roberts wasteful in possession.
Reacting to the post on the Leeds Insider Facebook page, our panel of Super Fans had some strong words for Roberts.
Here’s what they had to say…

Writing on the wall
Can Bielsa afford to persist with Roberts for much longer?
His loyalty to his players is admirable, but there comes a time where one has to prioritise what is in the club’s best interests, and at the moment, playing Roberts is not.
He has continually failed to deliver for the Whites, and if they are to progress under ‘El Loco’, better players are required.
Joe Gelhardt, for example, should have usurped Roberts in the pecking order now.
For the good of Roberts, as well as the club, he needs some time away, possibly on loan, to reinvigorate his career.
Perhaps he could come back afresh after a spell away from the club – he certainly has the natural ability to make himself a Premier League player – but for now, he is failing to show that.
In other Leeds United news, Adrian Durham has urged Marcelo Bielsa to make a big decision after this ‘astonishing’ development last week.
