Leeds United submit Andrea Radrizzani document to Companies House, two other exits now official
Leeds United have finally submitted Andre Radrizzani’s termination of employment document to Companies House, alongside two further exits.
The former Leeds owner sold his majority stake in the Whites following their relegation to the Championship at the end of last season and the documents that were filed electronically on Thursday 12 October confirm his departure from Elland Road have been submitted to make his exit official.
Alongside Radrizzani, both Sandro Mencucci and Massimo Marinelli have had documents surrounding their termination of employment logged. Both were members of the Leeds United board of directors under the previous owners but have departed the club alongside the former chairman.

Following relegation to the Championship, 49ers Enterprises who already owned a 44 per cent stake in the Whites agreed to a deal to buy Radrizzani’s remaining 56 per cent of the club, to become the only stakeholder in the Elland Road club [Sly Sports, 10 June].
Good riddance
While it has long been definite that Radrizzani and the other members of the Leeds board of directors had departed Elland Road, it is a relief to see his exit legally confirmed and hopefully, the Whites can begin to recover from the tumultuous state they were left in at the end of last season.
The 49ers have done an excellent job at navigating what was a difficult transfer window at Elland Road, given the number of players who departed the club courtesy of relegation release clauses that had been written into their Premier League contracts.

Still, the new owners have assembled Daniel Farke a good squad which are more than capable of competing at the top end of the Championship this year, but they are still having to undo some of Radrizzani’s mistakes, including attempting to recoup some of the money owed by Barcelona for the transfer of Raphinha.
The next step will surely be to completely part ways with Radrizzani by taking over the ownership of Elland Road which is currently leased to the Whites by the Italian’s company Elland Road Ltd. No matter what documents are submitted to Companies House, he is still making money from Leeds via the stadium currently.
