Leeds United: Stuart Dallas sends message to Steven Davis after what happened at Rangers
Leeds United star Stuart Dallas has sent a one-word message to former Rangers midfielder Steven Davis.
It comes after the latter was inducted into the Scottish club’s Hall of Fame as the Gers hosted Motherwell at Ibrox on Saturday (2 March).
The 39-year-old, a former teammate of Dallas with Northern Ireland, announced his retirement earlier this year.
“Always great to be back at Ibrox, a place full of special memories that’s been a huge part of my family’s life,” Davis wrote on Instagram.
“Thank you for the warm reception, love and support over all the years. Wee man loved the experience of being mascot as well.” Among those replying to Davis was the midfielder’s compatriot Dallas, who commented: “Legend.”

There is no doubt that both Dallas and Davis are Northern Ireland legends, but the former still has time to go to extend his legacy with his country.
Davis has, however, taken the decision to retire following a lengthy battle with injury, with Dallas incidentally also currently struggling with injury.
The Rangers faithful were in full voice at Ibrox to show their support for the legendary figure, with manager Philippe Clement among those honouring Davis.
But their celebrations did not extend into the match, with the hosts suffering a shock 2-1 loss to Motherwell in a dent to their Scottish Premiership title hopes.
And while it wasn’t as bad for Leeds, they will be extremely disappointed to have dropped points at Huddersfield on Saturday (2 March).

Even with the Terriers playing a huge chunk of the match with 10 men following Jonathan Hogg’s red card, Daniel Farke’s men could only secure a point in a 1-1 draw.
In other Leeds United news, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp shared an “insane” verdict after watching a recent match at Elland Road.
