We’re delighted to welcome injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the injury situation at Leeds United...
Patrick Bamford is doubtful to play in the must-win game for Leeds United against Tottenham Hotspur, claims Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert has shared his beliefs after the English forward was withdrawn in the first half of the 3-1 defeat against West Ham last weekend.
In his opinion, hamstring injuries are notorious in nature and the fact that he couldn’t even continue until half time, makes his availability a significant doubt for this one.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said on Bamford, “His availability will depend on the severity of the injury but I’d be surprised if he’s able to play since hamstring injuries are notoriously sensitive.”
The 29-year-old has endured a tough few months for Leeds and some of the vile abuse he’s received from supporters has undoubtedly impacted him.

He was hounded by some disgusting fans online after he missed a penalty and an open goal in recent games.
This season has not been the best for him as he’s managed to find the back of the net on just four occasions in the league.
He’s also made just 18 starts which is not what it should be for the best number nine at the club and it remains to be seen if he’s at Leeds beyond the summer.
Along with Bamford, Tyler Adams, Stuart Dallas and Luis Sinisterra will be ruled out for the game.
In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay claims that an international player at Elland Road has no place at the club next season and a summer transfer is on the cards.
