“Cody Drameh will undergo his medical tomorrow and then he’ll be announced as new Cardiff City player.” Romano said on his personal Twitter.
“Agreement completed with Leeds confirmed.
“Straight loan until June and no buy option included. Leeds see him having a big future for them in the next years.”
One for the future
This is a great move for everyone involved. Cardiff are getting themselves a seriously talented young player hungry to impress.
Leeds will be delighted one of their highly anticipated academy prospects for the future will be getting regular first team football.
Drameh is currently playing in the under-23’s so it is essential for his development that he makes the step into a first team set-up.
The Championship is a great place to start his journey and he could find himself a regular at Cardiff.
It was no surprise that there wasn’t an option to buy included in the deal. The Leeds United defender is well known to have a bright future ahead of him and the Whites will want to be a part of that.
This is a great opportunity for Drameh to mature as a player and potentially force his way into the Leeds team with the experience he has gained whilst in Wales.
