Leeds United star Raphinha still wanted by Manchester United

Leeds United star Raphinha is still wanted by Manchester United, according to a report from the Independent.

They claim that the Red Devils are big “fans” of the 24-year-old and that the player sees Bruno Fernandes as a big brother. Therefore, they believe that Manchester United will be in the conversation when he decides to move on.

The Red Devils were linked with a move in the last summer window, and it appears as if they are still keeping an eye on the Leeds ace [Gianluigi Longari].

Leeds to face a fight to keep Raphinha?

Since Leeds signed Raphinha from Rennes, he has scored seven goals and provided nine assists, while last season, he was Leeds’ top-rated WhoScored player.

So, you can see why the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United want to try and sign Raphinha whenever that may be.

He has been described as “relentless” by Noel Whelan in the past and has been a breath of fresh air for the Whites [Football Insider].

However, he seems happy at Elland Road and is at an ambitious club with a fantastic manager. So, we can’t see why he would want to go anywhere at this moment in time.

Yes, the time might come when he decides to move on, but we can’t see that happening for a little while yet and it would take huge money.

However, if he does ever decide to move on, we hope that he doesn’t make that step to Old Trafford and cross that barrier after falling in love with everyone at Elland Road.
