Leeds star Kalvin Phillips fails to feature in England arrivals video

Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips has been struggling with injury since the final day clash against West Brom.

The Yorkshire Pirlo appeared to injure his shoulder once again, as he clattered through the back of Grady Diangana in the final few moments.

The Whites have since shared an update, claiming that Phillips should be fit to feature for England in the EUROs should he be called upon.

Gareth Southgate did oblige and call up Phillips to his 33-man squad.

That will be downgraded to 26 before the major tournament, with a week of training for the Three Lions before that happens, though.

England shared a video of the players arriving on Sunday afternoon to their training camp, and Phillips was a clear omission.

There were the likes of Declan Rice and Jack Grealish shown, but the Leeds man was missing as the Premier League’s best arrived.

Phillips may be delayed in his arrival to the training camp, as he continues work with the likes of Rob Price back at Thorp Arch.

The social media video released by the Whites this week saw the midfielder undergoing numerous shoulder exercises with relative ease.

Southgate will have had a big smile on his face after that was released, proving that Phillips should be ready to start against Croatia if needed.

Despite arriving late, it will still give the Yorkshire Pirlo weeks of training before the tournament starts, fingers crossed.
