Leeds United stance on Rodrigo shared with immediate agent meeting on the cards
The Leeds United stance on Rodrigo’s exit has been shared as his agent, his father, is set for an immediate meeting with the hierarchy.
According to Leeds Live journalist Beren Cross, the Whites are not expected to make things difficult if the Spaniard wants to leave the club.
His father has already confirmed that there will be a meeting with the club, but that’s understood to happen very soon.
Via Twitter, Cross wrote, “Rodrigo’s agent, his father, set to meet Leeds top brass imminently to get the wheels moving on his exit. United not expected to make it difficult for him to move and get those wages off the books.”
On his way out?
Rodrigo’s father speaking out means that he’s quite certainly thinking about a move away from Elland Road.
Despite being on the wrong side of 30, he feels he can still give it his best at a top-flight club and that’s testament to his training and fitness.
It remains to be seen which club ends up signing him as there have been links in his native Spain and sides there will surely be willing to take the punt on him.

Real Madrid have also been linked with him and they’ll perhaps get a good deal financially given Leeds’ relegation.
It remains to be seen what happens in the meetings as the Leeds hierarchy could as him to stay on for another season and then allow him to leave if they don’t get promoted.
However, from the looks of it, his mind appears to be made and it might take something big in order for him to stay put at Elland Road.
In other Leeds United, a BT Sport pundit has delivered an “Incredible” verdict as a frontrunner has emerged for the Elland Road hot seat.
