Leeds United should steer clear of Christian Pulisic after Thierry Henry highlights damming point
Premier League legend Thierry Henry has given a damming verdict of Leeds United target Christian Pulisic raising the question as to why managers don’t want to start him.
Leeds are one of a number of clubs looking at a potential move for Pulisic when the transfer window reopens in January, according to Calciomercato.
However, Henry raised the question after Chelsea’s Wednesday evening demolition job of AC Milan as to why managers aren’t starting the American.

“At one point you’re going to have to bring something to the table, I know I’m repeating myself but it’s true,” said Henry, as quoted by the Sun.
“How many managers are not going to trust you? It’s going to have to be you at one point. So, find a way.”
It’s a brutal verdict from the Premier League legend but one that rings true, why is it that Pulisic has been unable to convince any of the revolving Chelsea managers that he is good enough to merit a starting position?

Overrated.
Overrated and overpriced Leeds United should avoid making a move for Pulisic in January or the summer, it would be a waste of money better spent elsewhere.
His inconsistency to perform week in, and week out in the Premier League is a good enough reason not to spend valuable money on the winger.
And Henry is right, there must be a rationale as to why no manager has chosen to start Pulisic and this should be enough evidence to make Jesse Marsch and Leeds steer clear of him.
Shattering the club’s transfer record for a player who is largely unproven would be foolish, there are better talents on the market who would be more suited to the Whites playing style.
Leeds would be better suited looking for an under-the-radar talent of similar ilk to Raphinha when considering their next move for a winger.
Marsch’s men may potentially lose Jack Harrison but that doesn’t mean they should replace him instantly with Pulisic, they’d be better off waiting for the right talent to then make a move on.
In other Leeds United news, an Elland Road-linked midfielder is now certain to leave his club in the coming weeks as a host of Premier League clubs are vying for his services.
