Leeds United set to announce Luis Sinisterra signing on July 13

Leeds United are reportedly set to announce the signing of Feyenoord winger Luis Sinisterra on Wednesday, July 13.

According to Colombian media outlet AS, the Whites are to due to make the signing official next week as they will sign the 23-year-old for a £25.7million fee.

Should Tyler Adams be announced before him, he will become the club’s fifth signing of the summer.

Making moves

In a week’s time, Leeds will have replaced both Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha, at least in principle.

We’re not suggesting that Adams or Sinisterra are as good as the aforementioned duo, but it proves that Leeds are capable of making quick moves in the window.

Rather than looking for like-for-like replacements, the Whites seem to be signing a balanced squad with quality all over rather than having big names in a few positions.

None of the players arriving will cause too much of excitement among the fanbase but if they’re players that Jesse Marsch is confident about, then it could be a smart transfer strategy.

With no big names, Leeds can be assured that none of the top sides will constantly be knocking on their door to sign them.

They can thrive at Elland Road and take their game to the next level there and hopefully, ensure that Leeds become an established Premier League club fighting for top-half finishes every season.

In other Leeds United news, the club have now opened talks with an ‘Incredible’ title-winning central midfielder to replace Kalvin Phillips and sign him along with Tyler Adams.
