Leeds United set for Premier League with ‘incredible’ Elland Road verdict
Leeds United are leading the way in the race to earn promotion to the Premier League from the Championship this season.
The Whites have been in fine form in the current campaign as they look to win automatic promotion, sitting two points ahead of Sheffield United.
Daniel Farke’s team face Watford at Vicarage Road on Tuesday (11 February) as they look to solidify their lead at the top of the table.
The Elland Road faithful hope for Premier League football after missing out last season to Southampton in the play-off final at Wembley.
Leeds United may be guaranteed Premier League promotion
Tony Cascarino believes the Peacocks are guaranteed to be back in the Premier League.
The former Ireland international feels the West Yorkshire outfit have everything in place to be in the top division, with their budget impressive.
Cascarino has also lauded the incredible atmosphere at Elland Road as they have been predicted to win promotion if they perform at their best.
Speaking on talkSPORT (11 February, 7:37), the 62-year-old said: “[Leeds] have got the biggest squad; the biggest budget.
“They have an incredible atmosphere at Elland Road. Everything is in place for Leeds to be a Premier League team. I think they’re guaranteed. If they’re anything near their best, they will get promoted.”

Daniel Farke will be confident at Elland Road
Marcelo Bielsa took Leeds back into the Premier League, and Farke has the opportunity to replicate those heroics.
The Whites dropped back into the Championship after sacking the Argentine manager, but the former Norwich City boss seems to be on course to achieve his targets in West Yorkshire.
Farke has a firing Joel Piroe at his disposal, and the Dutchman could lead the Peacocks back into the upper echelons.
The 25-year-old has scored 13 goals in the Championship in the current campaign and the forward will be expected to be his best at Vicarage Road.
As things stand, Farke can’t let his team take the foot off the gas as Sheffield United, Burnley and Sunderland are also vying for a place at the top.
The Whites need to avoid any similar league slip-ups after losing 2-0 to Millwall in the FA Cup on Saturday with a heavily rotated squad.
While it must have been disappointing for the Elland Road faithful to see their team being eliminated from the cup competition, they can now fully focus on the Championship.
How the Peacocks will fare in the English top flight remains to be seen, as it has often been hard for promoted sides to survive.
