Leeds United set big asking price for Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips

Leeds United are set to demand in excess of £100million for both Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips, should they depart, according to 90min.

Both the players have been linked with a move away from Elland Road, although Phillips has made it clear that he would be happy to stay at Elland Road.

The report suggests that the Whites want in excess of £60million for Raphinha, while it will take over £50million to lure Phillips away.

Profit

Having secured Premier League safety, Leeds are under no stress to sell Raphinha.

The likes of Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Liverpool are interested in the dazzling winger, but Leeds have made it clear they will only sell him at the price being quoted.

Barcelona are heavily keen to land the Brazilian, but the Whites won’t accept any part-exchange deal at this moment. It’s a strong message from the Whites hierarchy – meet our demand, and take the player; otherwise, don’t waste our time.

The situation of Phillips is equally interesting. One thing is for sure, he won’t join Manchester United.

However, clubs like Manchester City and Aston Villa could come up with a big-money offer to lure him away.

Phillips could be tempted to join the Premier League champions, but it would take a huge effort to convince him to leave his boyhood club.

The Whites are under no financial pressure to sell both of them, so any transfer deal has to be on their own terms. Leeds have an upper hand on the negotiation table.

In case, they move on, Leeds will recoup a huge profit from their sales, which they can reinvest into the side.

In other Leeds United news, Chelsea have appeared on the radar as a club which might spell more trouble for the Whites this summer.
