Leeds United sensation Jeremiah Mullen training update emerges as Daniel Farke takes over reins at Elland Road
Never-seen-before Leeds United youngster Jeremiah Mullen was spotted in Daniel Farke’s first training session at the club.
LeedsLive [5 July] shared images of the training session as the German took charge of the senior side for the first time since being announced as Sam Allardyce’s successor.
Mullen, a player who appeared close to making his Leeds debut last season as footage emerged in May, was seen alongside Diogo Monteiro.

Give the youth a chance
Farke needs to make the most of the exemplary facilities at Thorp Arch and give the youngsters at Leeds a chance to express themselves.
They have made a number of signings for the academy over the past few seasons and a lot of those names were linked with moves to clubs in the Champions League.
It is well known that the Leeds junior teams are exceptional and if players progress as they’re expected to, they’re usually integrated into the first team.

Marcelo Bielsa famously did exactly that and while he was sometimes forced into it due to injuries, he always wanted players who bought into his philosophy.
After a certain age, players tend to have fixed mindsets about how the game should be played but if they’re in their teens or early 20s, it’s easier to mould them.
Farke seems to be a good communicator and it remains to be seen if he can get the youngsters on board and get Leeds back to the Premier League.
In other Leeds United news, the club have been handed a boost to sign a Manchester United player this summer with Erik ten Hag likely to sanction his exit.
