Leeds United secure Elland Road development amid Companies House document reveal
Leeds United have confirmed control of Elland Road Limited at Companies House, a document has revealed.
Finance Expert Kieran Maguire shared a document from 17 January showing Leeds United Football Club Limited as a person with significant control.
This comes after the Whites announced back in July 2024 that the stadium was wholly owned by the club.
Leeds United can move forward and aim to return to the Premier League
Elland Road was sold back in 2004 as the club had to navigate financial hardship so it’s good to see it returning to its rightful owner.
It undoubtedly is an important step taken in the right direction with the club aiming to return to the Premier League.
Plenty of promise was shown under Marcelo Bielsa and under better ownership, the team likely would’ve stayed in the top flight.
Hopefully, the 49ers have a plan in place after promotion and fans will be optimistic of their chances this season.
Daniel Farke has done a good job this time around despite losing a number of key players, his Leeds side are in pole position to secure promotion.
It remains to be seen if there are any additions in the January transfer window to strengthen the first team.
In other Leeds United news, sources have revealed that the club could now use a transfer loophole to secure a January signing.
