Leeds United: Ross McCormack shares three-word message as Archie Gray footage emerges

Ross McCormack has shared a three-word message on social media after seeing footage of what Leeds United sensation Archie Gray did for England U-21s.

The 18-year-old scored within five minutes of coming off the bench in his debut for the U-21s side in the 5-1 victory over Azerbaijan U-21s on Friday (22 March).

After the Three Lions’ official Instagram page posted a video of the Whites academy product scoring his goal, McCormack responded with “superb young man”.

Exciting times for Leeds United star Archie Gray

It’s been an incredible season for Gray so far after nailing down a starting spot in the Leeds team and performing well at international level.

The midfielder, who has spent much of this campaign playing at right-back for the Whites, has now played for four different England age brackets over the past year.

His recent call-up shows just how much the Three Lions think of him after fast-tracking him to the U-21s team for their latest fixtures.

The teenager will be hoping his incredible cameo off the bench can help him secure some more minutes when they take on Luxembourg on 26 March.

Daniel Farke will be keeping a keen eye on his progress over the next few days and will be hoping he returns from international duty fit and well as he looks to help his side claim promotion this season.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites are ready to sell a midfielder for £10.3million after what he told the media.
