Leeds United receive major boost in pursuit of Tyler Adams – report
Leeds United target Tyler Adams is considering a move away from RB Leipzig this summer, according to German outlet Kicker.
The Whites have been linked with the 23-year-old as manager Jesse Marsch has prioritized strengthening the defensive midfield position ahead of the new campaign.
As per the latest report, the USMT defensive midfielder ‘wants a change’ after falling down the pecking order at the Red Bull Arena.

Adams joined Leipzig in the summer of 2019 from Major League Soccer outfit New York Red Bulls in a deal worth £2.37 million.
Since then, he has represented his current club in 102 matches across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing four assists [Transfermarkt].

Reunion at Elland Road
If this move takes place, it would mean a reunion of Marsch and Adams at Leeds. Both enjoyed a wonderful working relationship during their time at RB Leipzig.
This signing would sound music to the Leeds fans as they would feel that their manager would know exactly what he is getting from this transfer.
The 23-year-old made 33 appearances in the recently concluded season for Leipzig. Even though he didn’t have many goal contributions, he had a passing accuracy of 87% across all competitions.
In the recently concluded Champions League, the USMT midfielder averaged 1.8 tackles per game, which were the highest for the club in this competition. He had 0.2 key passes per game [Whoscored].
Adams is everything that you want in a Leeds player like aggression, solidity, and a personality.
When they go into the big games, such as Manchester United away, they would need personalities like the American on the pitch.
In other Leeds United news, a player has jet into the UK from Dubai after making a transfer decision on the Whites.
