Leeds United promotion prediction made by Supercomputer after QPR win
Leeds United are predicted to lift the Championship title by the Opta Supercomputer following the 2-0 win over QPR on Saturday.
Daniel Farke’s side welcomed QPR to Elland Road on 9 November, taking all three points through Jayden Bogle and Joel Piroe, getting back to winning ways after losing 1-0 to Millwall.
The Whites are currently sitting in third place after 15 matches, just two points behind league leaders Sunderland and Sheffield United, and are predicted to finish at the top of the Championship table.
Leeds have a 41.7 per cent chance of lifting the league title while promotion rises all the way up to 67 per cent, making them the favourites to climb back to the Premier League at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
Leeds United to win automatic promotion back to the Premier League?
With Farke at the helm, Leeds will feel they have everything it takes to claim promotion back to the Premier League, using the hurt of last season to avoid the Championship play-offs.
The Whites failed to jump the final hurdle last term, losing 1-0 to Southampton in the play-off final at Wembley Stadium, leading to all of the biggest stars leaving Elland Road in the summer.
Despite this, Farke has put Leeds in a brilliant position after the first few games of the season, placing them just two points behind the two teams at the top of the table.

While the Supercomputer has a clear prediction of who will lift the Championship title, with Sunderland, Sheffield United, Burnley, West Brom and Watford all fighting, it is unlikely to be that simple.
Automatic promotion is the ideal outcome for Leeds this season, given the previous play-off hurt, and with Farke’s experience with Norwich City in the second tier, this season should end with a lot more joy.
