Leeds United prepare second bid to sign FC Porto attacker Otavio
Leeds United prepare yet another bid to sign FC Porto attacker Otavio in the summer transfer window, according to a report from A Bola.
The Portuguese newspaper reported via their online edition on 24 June that the Whites are planning to make another bid in the region of £34m for Otavio after their opening bid of around £25.8m, as reported by O Jogo on 22 June, was rejected.
Leeds are not the only team vying for his signature, but they are most “committed” to convincing him to join the Premier League this summer.
Replacement for Raphinha?
It seems the Whites are really serious about landing Otavio, and they are ready to spend big to secure his signature.
The 27-year-old could be an ideal replacement for Raphinha, and it seems Victor Orta is determined to land the player, irrespective of what happens to the Whites winger.

Raphinha is being chased by Barcelona and other Premier League clubs, and he has set his heart on leaving Elland Road.
Leeds will probably not wait for Barcelona till eternity. They will take the best offer for Raphinha and re-invest into the squad, which is the smartest thing to do.
Otavio scored five goals and provided 14 assists in 49 matches for Porto last season, and mostly operates on the right-hand side.
Raphinha needs to make a decision quickly but it seems Leeds are more concerned about securing their own targets.
The Whites have secured three signings already, and it remains to be seen if Otavio can become their fourth major signing for the summer.
In other Leeds United news, officials were left baffled by what a rival top flight side did this week as one transfer saga entered a new phase.
