Leeds United predicted XI v Leicester City: Luke Ayling to make first start of season

Jesse Marsch has confirmed that Pascal Struijk will miss the Leeds United Premier League clash v Leicester City on Thursday night with Junior Firpo coming in.

Apart from that, the American also claimed that Adam Forshaw, Archie Gray and Stuart Dallas are unavailable due to injury.

He said, “Adam is coming back from injury, Stuart still injured. Archie Gray, too. Pascal Struijk has picked up an injury and won’t be available for tomorrow, but we’re hopeful he will be available for the weekend.”

We’re not expecting any changes in goal and Illan Meslier will be starting this one.

Ahead of him, it could be a good time to hand Luke Ayling a start with Liam Cooper and Robin Koch continuing at centre-back.

Pascal Struijk has done extremely well at left-back but against Leicester, he is ruled out and even if fit, Marsch may want to take the game to the opposition which would see Junior Firpo featuring.

The Spaniard will offer a lot more going forward so it could work out best for Leeds but he does need to step up his game.

The two midfielders pretty much pick themselves as they have all season.

Tyler Roca and Marc Roca were both signings made by Marsch and he is expected to continue the faith in them.

Moving forward, we do expect Patrick Bamford to be in contention to start and given how Rodrigo fared it does make sense to go with the Englishman.

In other Leeds United news, a Sky Sports pundit has delivered Jesse Marsch’s “sack” verdict after what he heard this month.
