Leeds United: ‘Precious’ injury update emerges on Rasmus Kristensen from Roma
Roma manager Daniele de Rossi has received a boost ahead of their derby clash with Lazio as Leeds United loanee Rasmus Kristensen has returned from injury, according to Pazzi di Fanta.
The Italian news outlet reported on 4 April that that “precious” player was back training with the rest of the group to join De Rossi’s preparation for the crucial fixture.
It was then shared that the only remaining absentee in Roma’s squad is the forward Sardar Azmoun, who is expected to miss another three weeks.

Kristensen has secured his position as an important player since moving to Roma on loan, but has been tipped to return to Elland Road at the end of his loan spell and is not expected to remain in Italy beyond the end of the season.
The defender had recently spoken about his desire to quit Elland Road after their relegation from the Premier League as he confessed he was keen to link up with then-Roma boss Jose Mourinho, as he jumped at the opportunity to work with him.
Meanwhile, his fellow Leeds loanee Diego Llorente, also playing for Roma, is likely to stick around in the Italian capital following his loan, with an option to buy set at £4.2million likely to be triggered, calling an end to his spell in Yorkshire.

Whether Kristensen would be given a warm welcome back at Elland Road remains up for debate, with fans turning on many of the players who made a swift departure following their relegation, but that will be pushed aside until the summer.
