Leeds United praised by David Moyes

David Moyes has praised Leeds United after West Ham beat the Whites at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.

The Whites took the lead thanks to a brilliant goal from Raphinha but conceded two goals in the second half to condemn them to another defeat.

However, after the match, Moyes was full of praise for Marcelo Bielsa’s men and claimed that it is easy to see why fans enjoy watching them play [Football.London].

He said: “You can see why people want to watch Leeds; you get sucked into their game. It was a great game for the neutral.”

Moyes was happy to dish out the praise.

It was an entertaining game at Elland Road, and the Whites arguably had enough chances to put the game to bed before the Hammers came roaring back.

However, Illan Meslier did have to pull off several fantastic saves in both halves to deny the Irons a couple more goals, so we can see why any neutral would have enjoyed the match.

Ultimately, though, Moyes can sit there and dish out praise because his side took all three points and left the Whites without a league win.

This has not been a great start to the season for Leeds, but you would think that they will start to pick up some points once a few more players return.

Next up is Watford, and that is pretty much a must-win if Leeds are to get their Premier League campaign underway.

They played well on Saturday but now is the time for them to start earning some points.
