Leeds United plot double move for Brenden Aaronson and Jesse Marsch with ‘huge’ admiration – report
Dean Jones has insisted it is no surprise to see Leeds United strongly linked with moves for Brenden Aaronson and Jesse Marsch in the summer.
The self-proclaimed transfer insider admitted that the potential new manager and first signing are both believed to “love” the idea of working together in England.
Leeds have made Marsch their number one target should Marcelo Bielsa leave [Telegraph], and work is ongoing with RB Salzburg over a move for Aaronson [Graham Smyth].

Speaking to GIVE ME SPORT earlier this morning, Jones shares the “huge” moves that could take place in the summer.
“It’s not a coincidence that Leeds were heavily linked with Brenden Aaronson and are now being heavily linked with Jesse Marsch,” he said.
“There is huge admiration for the Red Bull model and their focus has been on success stories coming out of Salzburg in recent years.
“Leeds want both Aaronson and Marsch and believe the pair would love to work together in an English team.”

Huge.
Well, this is the start of the American revolution at Elland Road.
No one would exactly say no though given the pedigree of both potential new incomers, who have both shined in recent years across Europe.
Starting with Aaronson, after failing twice in January, it looks very clear that bringing him to Elland Road will be one of our first transfer priorities in the summer.
Marsch is an intriguing one.
Everyone wants Bielsa to stay at the club, but it is smart by Andrea Radrizzani and the 49ers to have a back-up plan in place if needed.
The American has tasted success in the MLS and with RB Salzburg, as well as beating Manchester City in the Champions League with RB Leipzig.
All eyes are on the summer.
