Leeds United players bump into Jesse Marsch weeks after club sacking
Some Leeds United players have surprisingly bumped into sacked head coach Jesse Marsch who is still living and renting a house in Harrogate, according to The Athletic.
Marsch’s reign at Elland Road came to an end after the club fell to a 1-0 defeat against Nottingham Forest on 5 February.
The Athletic reports that Marsch has not left the UK since his sacking on 6 February as he looks for a potential new head coaches job in England.

“Marsch had not left the UK in the short time since the end of his 11-month reign at Elland Road and was still renting a home in Harrogate,” as quoted by The Athletic. (16 February)
“A few of Leeds’ players had seen the 49-year-old out and about in the Yorkshire spa town since he was sacked by the Elland Road club on Monday, February 6.“

No saints in West Yorkshire.
Marsch’s prolonged stay in West Yorkshire is likely down to the fact that he was being chased by fellow Premier League strugglers Southampton.
Nevertheless, the BBC reported on 15 February that talks between the American and the Saints had broken down last minute.
It’s nice to see that Leeds United aren’t the only Premier League club incapable of signing and sealing a new manager to take the helm at the club.
Fans of Southampton can only hope that their search for a new boss isn’t as prolonged and disastrous as the one the Whites have had over the last two weeks.
Everton are up next for Leeds United in what promises to be a fiery affair at Goodison Park, the Whites will have to be at their very best in this one.
On paper, however, you would think Leeds United could come away with the three points on 18 February, despite the club’s recent questionable form.
