Leeds United player Tyler Roberts pulls hamstring - Phil Hay

Phil Hay has shared the news that Leeds United forward Tyler Roberts has pulled his hamstring in the defeat at Leicester.

Despite it being clear while watching on, the Welshman could hardly move in the final 15 minutes after an early clash.

Hay shared the news, meaning that Roberts will no doubt be missing for weeks at Elland Road under Jesse Marsch.

Writing for The Athletic, Hay appeared to share the news that the striker will now be missing for weeks at Elland Road.

“Instead, Tyler Roberts got the last 15 but pulled a hamstring immediately, reducing him to the movement of a mannequin,” he said.

“For all the differences elsewhere, plus ca change on the injury front.”

Out.

Despite no one confirming the news, Ben Dinnery has shared that Roberts is currently being assessed and is now out against Aston Villa.

The injury expert reported on his website that the striker is currently being assessed at Thorp Arch and is definitely ruled out.

Now, many won’t be too bothered about this, but those who are getting on the back of Roberts and any other of the squad are simply not welcome.

This time is all about getting behind the lads, and they need all the support they can get with 11 games left in the Premier League this season.

We need every last player available, with Patrick Bamford coming back alongside Kalvin Phillips and Liam Cooper.

Roberts is out, though, and Diego Llorente could also remain out, fingers crossed the blow isn’t too bad to the squad.
