Leeds United ace Jaidon Anthony reacts as Eden Hazard announces retirement
Leeds United winger Jaidon Anthony has reacted after Eden Hazard announced his retirement from football on Instagram.
The Belgian has announced on social media his plans to spend time with loved ones after hanging up his boots at the age of 32.
The winger represented the Red Devils a total of 126 times, and played club football for Lille, Chelsea and Real Madrid.

“You must listen to yourself and say stop at the right time,” Hazard posted on Instagram. “After 16 years and more than 700 matches played, I have decided to end my career as a professional footballer. I was able to realise my dream, I have played and had fun on many pitches around the world.”
Leeds winger Anthony reposted the post on his Instagram story with the goat emoji, meaning the ‘Greatest of all time.’

Legend
Hazard didn’t have many reasons to celebrate in his final years on the pitch, both for Real Madrid and the Belgium national team.
But there can be no doubting his status as one of the greatest players to ever play the game, largely thanks to his feats for Premier League giants Chelsea.
The hugely talented winger made over 350 appearances for the West London club, helping them lift the Premier League twice, Europa League twice and FA Cup once.
League titles were also secured in France and Spain with Lille and Real Madrid respectively, with Hazard also winning the Champions League with the latter. Those trophies go along with his countless individual awards, ensuring his place among the all-time greats.
At 32, the player could have undoubtedly still shone on the pitch, but his struggles at Real Madrid have seemingly taken their toll. It remains to be seen what is next in store for the Belgian, but he can certainly retire with his head held high.
In other Leeds United news, an international manager has shared a “positive” update on one Whites ace amid a “hugely frustrating” injury.
