Leeds United duo could face suspension for Championship showdown – Sky Sports
Leeds United’s defensive duo of Jayden Bogle and Joe Rodon would both miss Tuesday’s (22 October) encounter with Watford should they pick up yellow cards against Sheffield United.
Both Bogle and Rodon have been influential components of the Leeds defence this season but have both picked up four yellow cards this season, according to Sky Sports. Leaving them just one card away from a suspension.
Rodon especially has been crucial for Leeds this season and his performances over the international break will have pleased Daniel Farke.
Farke has already lost several key players to injury with Max Wober and Ethan Ampadu among the list of current absentees.
Leeds United can not afford to lose more players
With injuries to Ampadu and Wober especially, two nailed-on starters when fit, Leeds can not afford to see anyone else drop out of contention whether it be through injury or suspension.

Farke’s side have made an impressive start to the season albeit sitting in a perhaps underwhelming fifth position, however, that could quickly be undone if his squad continues to fall apart.
Whilst you could argue a yellow card for a defender is somewhat inevitable between now and the cut-off point for suspension, Leeds would benefit massively from having as full of a squad to pick from as possible.
Leeds will likely look ahead to the January transfer window as a chance to recruit some additional depth, however, they must remain in promotion contention for that to hold any significance.
The Whites are still yet to win against a side occupying the top-six, with draws against West Brom and Sunderland as well as a defeat to Burnley and Friday night’s (18 October) encounter with Sheffield United provides a huge opportunity to rectify that.
