Leeds United owners San Francisco 49ers keen on Daryl Dike pursuit
San Francisco 49ers, the minority stakeholders at Leeds United, reportedly want the club to sign Orlando City striker Daryl Dike in January.
According to TEAMtalk, the American forward has emerged as a candidate for a host of English clubs, including West Ham, Brighton, Newcastle and Championship side West Bromwich Albion as well.
He spent last season on loan in the Championship with Barnsley and put in an impressive shift before heading back to the United States of America.

Worth looking into
The 21-year-old has everything one would want in a modern-day striker.
He is pacey, mobile, strong and knows where the back of the net is.
The Yorkshire Post has even waxed lyrical of the player’s “magnificent physique”.
Unlike most strikers today, Dike enjoys putting in a shift off the ball and would be a phenomenal fit for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
This season, in 16 MLS starts, the American striker has bagged 11 goals and has provided an assist.

With nearly a goal involvement in every game, Dike clearly is a menace in the final third and could wreak havoc in the Premier League if given the licence to flourish.
He also scored nine more goals in this calendar year loan at Barnsley, who he joined in the January transfer window.
While he may not be a regular starter at Leeds from the off, he could soon prove his worth to Bielsa and show him that he’s a better option than the likes of Tyler Roberts and Dan James.
The fact that he’s 21, makes him someone not just for the present but also for the future and there’s no reason why Victor Orta should block a move for the player.
