Leeds United open talks to sign Jack Harrison permanently – report
Leeds United have reportedly set the wheels in motion to sign Jack Harrison on a permanent basis in the summer.
According to The Daily Star, the Whites have opened talks with Manchester City over the transfer of Harrison that they claim is expected to cost them £15m.
The English winger has been at Elland Road on loan since Marcelo Bielsa took over the reins three years ago, and the Argentine is keen on continuing with the attacker.

This will come as welcome news to Bielsa and Harrison both of whom are understood to share a healthy relationship at the club.
The Argentine has started the 24-year-old in 33 of Leeds’ 37 games this season and has been rewarded with eight goals and as many assists.
While his form has been a tad erratic, his application has been second to none, and he’s only getting better with each passing season under the Argentine’s stewardship.
Get in
Recently, when asked about his future, Harrison said, “I think something is in place for Leeds this summer. It’s been a great experience for me here. Playing three seasons here and not spending much time at Manchester City, it’s hard to feel part of that.”
We’ve known for a while that the club had intentions to sign him permanently and it’s now about getting it over the line and making an official announcement.
The £15m fee is new to us. Athletic journalist Phil Hay has previously said then option is there for £11m – slightly up on the previous year after the new loan deal was agreed.
At £11m he’d be an absolute snip – even at £15m he’s a great buy.
This season, there have been a number of standout performers, but Harrison has really stood out towards the end of the season.
He’s rated highly by the club and fans alike, who will undoubtedly be delighted to see him commit his future to Leeds.
Leeds United hero Jermaine Beckford is also a huge fan of the Englishman – referring to him as ‘brilliant’ on the Official Leeds United podcast.
