Leeds United only behind Arsenal and Southampton in Premier League in terms of squad age

Leeds United have the third youngest squad in the Premier League, a recent finding by CIES Observatory has revealed.

Their results show that Arsenal are first in terms of the average age followed by Southampton and then by the Whites.

Leeds have undergone an overhaul of sorts since they got promoted under Marcelo Bielsa in the 2020/21 campaign and have made a number of signings this past summer.

He did well to back Jesse Marsch with his picks – most of them who had high potential and the best days ahead of them.

The likes of Brenden Aaronson and Tyler Adams have slotted into the team perfectly while Willy Gnonto and Tyler Gyabi look good options for the future.

We’re excited to see how far Marsch can take this Leeds side and whether or not he can better Marcelo Bielsa’s achievements at the club.

In other Leeds United news, an Elland Road-linked midfielder is now certain to leave his club in the coming weeks as a host of Premier League clubs are vying for his services.
