Leeds United one of three PL clubs to have had most players vaccinated

Leeds United are one of three Premier League clubs that have had 89-100% of their players vaccinated against Covid, according to the Daily Mail.

They claim that the Whites, Brentford, and Wolverhampton Wanderers are the only clubs to have been successful in getting most of their players to have the Covid jab.

At least two clubs have only managed to get six players vaccinated, despite being in the middle of a pandemic.

Leeds deserve huge praise.

It is very concerning that only a small number of players in the Premier League have decided to get vaccinated against Covid.

Therefore, the Whites deserve huge praise for managing to get most or all of their players the jab so that they can play and live their lives safely.

Newcastle United goalkeeper Karl Darlow was hospitalised with Covid, yet it still seems as if some players are reluctant to have the jab for whatever reason [BBC].

You would think clubs should be doing more to convince players to get the jab, and perhaps some legislation should be introduced that would finally force these players to have their vaccination.

If the Premier League said that you couldn’t play unless you have had your Covid vaccine, then we can imagine that every player would be signing up to have their jab.

This is worrying to hear, but we are pleased to see that Leeds have been very successful, and the players deserve great credit for listening to the medical advice.
