Leeds United now locked in talks with Kai Wagner camp over potential new transfer
Leeds United are locked in transfer talks with Philadelphia Union left-back Kai Wagner and his camp, according to Manuel Veth.
The Forbes journalist has reported that no official bid has yet been made, all sides want the best solution with plenty of time still to go in the window.
Wagner is widely seen as the best left-back in the MLS and is reported to want the move to the Premier League as Leeds look to solve their crisis in that area.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Veth shared the latest going on as talks continue to thrive over a potential move in the coming weeks.
“Although there has been no official bid by Leeds to Philadelphia Union,” he wrote.
“There has been good communication between Leeds United and the Kai Wagner camp per source. Understanding is that there is still time this window and all sides want the best solution. To continue.”
Get it done.
This is the perfect move for all parties.
Jesse Marsch will be getting another left-back to help with his squad depth as Junior Firpo remains out and Pascal Struijk is forced to play out of position.
Wagner himself will get the chance to play in Europe again after spells in Germany at Augsburg and Schalke, and where better to do it than the Premier League?
The 49ers will welcome more business from America and Andrea Radrizzani will be happy to fund it given it may only cost the bargain price of £2.5million [Daily Mail].
Leeds have completed the bulk of their business this summer but are always ready to sign off on a deal should it arrive out of nowhere, with that certainly the case with Wagner.
If we can bring the German to Elland Road for that bargain price it would be a sensational piece of business, and would instantly make the squad much stronger.
That bid is certainly coming.
