Leeds United now in transfer talks to let Max Wober leave Elland Road – Sky Sports
Borussia Monchengladbach are locked in talks to sign Leeds United star Max Wober, according to Marlon Irlbacher on Sunday 23 July.
The Sky Sports man has reported that no agreement has yet been reached, although their is a loan clause in the contract of the Austrian international.
It comes after Daniel Farke confirmed that Wober missed the 2-0 defeat against Monaco due to an unnamed transfer situation on Saturday [22 July].
Writing on his personal Twitter account, Irlbacher said: “Yes, Borussia Monchengladbach is in negotiations with Leeds United’s Maximilian Wober.
“Wober has a loan contract in his contract. No agreement yet.”

Another One.
Out of all the players who have left Leeds on loan this summer already, this one likely makes the most sense.
Wober is one player who most fans at Elland Road wanted to keep, so if this guarantees that he would return next summer with potential Premier League football to play, many would take that.
The likes of Robin Koch, Diego Llorente, Rasmus Kristensen and Marc Roca would leave and most fans would not bat an eyelid compared to this one.
Although the jury is still out on Brenden Aaronson and his future, Wober is one who proved himself solid enough to make a real impact long-term in West Yorkshire.
With no agreement yet in place though, this is far away from being done and official, so anything can happen in the transfer window and he could yet stay.
Leeds need to make money though, whether through wages alone or transfer fees, so they are unlikely to stand in the way of anyone leaving – watch this space.
