Leeds United news: Update on Robin Koch transfer amid Manchester United and Eintracht Frankfurt links
Leeds United defender Robin Koch has a relegation clause in his contract amid links with Manchester United and Eintracht Frankfurt.
According to Bild [17 January, Page 10], the Bundesliga side have begun work to sign the 26-year-old along with another player in a two-man transfer pursuit.
The occurrence of a release clause does make the deal easier for any club looking to sign the Germany international.

Exits galore
Koch is one of the players very likely to leave Elland Road this summer, especially with the clause putting things into his hands, to an extent.
He is a Germany international and will want to get back in the squad ahead of the EUROs next season so his chances are better if he returns to his home country.
Hansi Flick is highly unlikely to watch the Championship for a player that’s not currently in the running for his Germany squad.

Had Koch been a regular and performing well for the national team, it would be a different issue, but he’s now got to prove himself.
Should he leave, not too many Leeds fans will really be too fussed by it as his performances for the first team have been far from spectacular.
All they would hope for is that a decent transfer fee is received which can then go towards strengthening the first team.
In other Leeds United news, a BBC pundit has been left stunned as Phil Hay has dropped a fresh update on who the Whites are considering bringing in as manager this summer.
