Leeds United news: Sky Sports journalist delivers verdict on Everton links to Rodrigo
Sky Sports journalist Alan Myers has delivered a verdict on Leeds United attacker Rodrigo amid summer transfer links to Everton.
The Whites’ relegation has seen a number of players being linked with the exit door and the Spaniard is wanted at Goodison Park.
Rodrigo was one of the best players for Leeds last season and he’s also linked with a move to the Middle East this summer.
Via Twitter, Myers wrote, “I think we may see movement by Monday but can’t guarantee it. My guess would be the first one will be Rodrigo but let’s see.”
Can do better
Rodrigo was a star player for Leeds and is undoubtedly better than all the attackers available at Everton.
If he does leave Elland Road, he can certainly do a lot better than relegation candidates in the Premier League.
Ideally, the club would want him to stay but if he has ambitions of playing for Spain at the EUROs, the eyeballs will be a lot more at a top flight side.

Myers expects movement to begin from next week and it remains to be seen what Daniel Farke’s role is in this deal.
He surely would want his best players to stay at the club and Rodrigo certainly fits that bill so he’ll perhaps want him for another season.
Everton do not have too much money to spend and could look at a loan deal which is not really going to benefit the Whites a great deal.
In other Leeds United news, the club have been handed a boost to sign a Manchester United player this summer with Erik ten Hag likely to sanction his exit.
