Leeds made to sweat on Jayden Bogle injury status after nasty clash vs Wolves

Jayden Bogle limped off the pitch against Wolves, in the only black mark to the win on Saturday.

Alan Shearer shares Calvert-Lewin doubt after what he did in Leeds win vs Wolves

Dominic Calvert-Lewin was on the scoresheet for Leeds for the first time since joining the club on a free transfer in the summer.

His all-round play was also brilliant, and he provided a constant outlet for Leeds, which helped them when they attacked on the counter.

Speaking on The Rest is Football podcast, Alan Shearer cast doubt over Calvert-Lewin’s ability to stay fit in the Premier League.

He said: “That’s the big thing, staying fit with him. They know that if they can get balls up to him, then he will score goals.”

Aaron Lennon hired by Leeds United in Thorp Arch announcement

Leeds have announced that Aaron Lennon has re-joined the club as U-18s coach.

Lennon made 43 appearances for Leeds in two years, becoming the youngest player to ever play in the Premier League when he made his debut in August 2003, aged 16 years and 129 days.

He also played for Tottenham, Everton and Burnley and earned 21 England caps and played at the 2006 and 2010 World Cups.

The 38-year-old will work alongside Under-18s coaches Rob Etherington and Alex Purver as he looks to help bring about the next great academy products.
