Jaidon Anthony pokes fun at Leeds United team-mate Glen Kamara over Instagram post

Jaidon Anthony has poked fun at Leeds United team-mate Glen Kamara over a message the midfielder posted on social media.

Kamara took to Instagram on Thursday [29 September] to thank Leeds fans for their support after he made his full Elland Road bow last weekend.

However, Bournemouth loanee Anthony was quick to point out that it took his fellow summer arrival five days to send the message.

“Bit late,” Anthony said in reply to Kamara’s message, which read: “Full home debut. Thank you for the support so far.”

Solid full debut

Anthony is already becoming a fan favourite with his antics, not least his comments on social media.

The 23-year-old is not quite having the same impact on the field at the moment, having made just three substitute appearances since joining.

That may explain why he took a light-hearted swipe at Kamara after the Finland international was handed his full debut last time out.

Kamara performed well in the 3-0 win over Watford, completing 46 of his 50 passes, including a 100% accuracy from his long balls [FotMob].

Daniel Farke was certainly impressed, saying after the match [LeedsLive, 25 September]: “You have to give him lots of praise. I’m pleased that he repaid as much as possible.”

On the basis of that performance and Farke’s comments, it would not be surprising to see Kamara retain his place in the side against Southampton on Saturday [30 September].

Maybe this time around he will be a little quicker with his social media post.

In other Leeds United news, Farke has made a “worse moment” admission ahead of the trip to Southampton.
