Leeds United: New Elland Road changes to be completed ahead of Hull City showdown
Leeds United are extending rail seating in the Don Revie stand at Elland Road ahead of the Whites’ Championship showdown with Hull City, according to Leeds Live.
The outlet reported on its website on Friday (15 March) that the Whites have been handed the green light to extend the rail seating across all areas of the upper section of the stand following a trial period that began in March 2022.
More railed seating will now be installed at Elland Road and while it won’t be in place for Sunday’s (17 March) showdown with Millwall, the work at the ground will be finalised by Easter Monday’s (1 April) clash with Hull City.
Will Leeds United and Elland Road win promotion to the Premier League?
Since they arrived at Elland Road, 49ers Enterprises have promised to help redevelop and rejuvenate Leeds’ home ground to try and get it up to speed with the feel of a modern-day ground and while this isn’t all their work, it is a step in the right direction.
The atmosphere at Elland Road this season has been electric and fans and pundits alike have widely praised supporters inside the ground for giving Leeds United an extra edge as they look to return to the Premier League this season.

Daniel Farke’s side face a huge couple of weeks in the final months of the Championship season as they look to confirm their place in the automatic promotion positions and having supporters behind them will be a huge boost.
Hopefully, Leeds will be able to maintain their excellent form that has carried them through 2024 either side of the March international break. If they keep winning, they’re in with an excellent shot of not only returning to the top flight but potentially even lifting the title this term.
