Leeds United: New Archie Gray to Bayern Munich transfer update from Germany

Bayern Munich know about the quality of Leeds United midfielder Archie Gray, but are yet to make contact with his management, according to Florian Plettenberg.

The Sky Sports journalist has reported on X that any move is not a “hot topic” as the Germans continue to monitor the 18-year-old at Elland Road.

Described as a key player for Leeds with a contract until 2028, it appears that no exit is imminent to the German giants despite their interest.

Archie Gray to leave Leeds United?

With a long-term contract already signed not even one full season into his senior career at Elland Road, there is no immediate risk for the Whites.

Even if Gray were to leave, he would command a huge fee that not many clubs would likely want to pay due to his limited experience.

Jude Bellingham has certainly shown what English talent can do in Germany, which has likely opened up more activity from counts at Football League games.

With the likes of Real Madrid also said to be interested, the biggest clubs in the world are lining up for Gray, but he has not let that get to his head so far.

After some tough results and performances in recent weeks for Leeds though, Gray still has plenty to learn at Elland Road, and that is to be expected.

Should this season end in promotion to the Premier League, there is no chance that the young star is going anywhere.
