Leeds United must capitalise as Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho transfer development emerges
Leeds United are desperately in the hunt of a new striker this summer and need to sign the Crystal Palace linked Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho as soon as possible.
The Athletic‘s Phil Hay reported back in September 2022 that the Whites contemplated bringing the Nigerian striker to Elland Road last summer.
This time around, the need for a striker is even more serious and with Leicester also getting relegated, Leeds are in with a chance to sign him.

The Evening Standard reported on 22 August that while the Foxes do not want to let him go, he will be available at a cut-price deal this summer.
With his contract at the King Power running out at the end of the campaign, and his unwillingness to sign a new deal, he would be open to a move to the Premier League.
However, Palace will only sign him if they lose Jean-Philippe Mateta which could open the door for Leeds to sweep in and secure his services.

The 26-year-old has proven himself in the English top flight and will do a phenomenal job in the Championship.
Under new owners and a new manager, Daniel Farke can promise to build his side around Iheanacho as they aim to get promoted at the first time of asking.
It remains to be seen if Leeds are going to rekindle their interest in the striker but they must at least give it a shot.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites have now emerged as favourites to sign a Premier League player likened to Lionel Messi.
