Leeds United must act quickly to sign Barcelona winger Ilias Akhomach ahead of Sevilla and AC Milan
Leeds United are reportedly closing in on securing the services of Barcelona winger Ilias Akhomach and hope to wrap up the deal in March.
According to Mundo Deportivo [14 March], Sevilla and AC Milan are also in the race, but negotiations with Leeds are at the most advanced stage.
It’s understood that the 18-year-old’s entourage are confident of the Whites staying in the Premier League for next season.

However, it’s essential that Victor Orta and co act quickly as a few bad results could put Leeds in a precarious situation.
This would see the Spaniard be more apprehensive over moving to Elland Road as clubs like Milan will be able to offer him Champions League football.
That said, if his aspirations are to get regular game time, then it makes a lot of sense for him to join Leeds as there are going to be some players leaving in the summer.
He also will be aware of Charles De Ketelaere who snubbed a move to Elland Road for the San Siro and appears to be regretting it.

He hasn’t been getting game time there despite being an expensive signing and signing Akhomach would be a shrewd piece of business by Leeds.
However, hijacks take place all the time so if they want to ensure that none of that happens, they’ve got to seal the deal as soon as possible.
In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay has shared a massive regret of the Elland Road faithful as the club made an official announcement a few days ago.
