Leeds United most serious to appoint Jesse Marsch, Marcelo Bielsa won’t make decision till summer – report
Leeds United are “most serious” in the race to appoint Jesse Marsch in the summer, according to the Daily Mail.
The newspaper has reported that the American is the prime target to take over at Elland Road should Marcelo Bielsa leave at the end of this season.
It is suggested that numerous clubs are in the race for Marsch though, including Athletic Bilbao and two other Premier League sides.

It looks as though the race is wide open already.
Those two Premier League sides are said to have made discreet enquiries regarding Marsch, who is a free agent after leaving RB Leipzig.
The American has tasted success in the MLS and with RB Salzburg during his time in management, and England could be the logical next step.
This will all be irrelevant should Bielsa decide to stick around, although Andrea Radrizzani is being made to wait.
Victor Orta will make the decision alongside him, and he admires Marsch, as will the 49ers, who would surely appreciate the American connection.

Waiting game.
This is not the news that those in the boardroom were wanting to hear.
It sounds as though Leeds are really planning for next season already, with transfers for the likes of Brenden Aaronson on the agenda after missing out in January.
How can you plan too much though without knowing what your managerial situation will be? Bielsa is committed as anyone and only wants to concentrate on matters on the pitch before his own future.
That is brilliant, but at some point, plans need to be put in place given how big of a transition it would be.
No one would want Bielsa to leave on a bad note, with El Loco going down as one of our biggest legends in the past 20 years.
If he does move, it looks as though Marsch is the man.
