Leeds United: Millwall trio ruled out of Elland Road clash due to injury
Millwall will be without three attackers for their trip to Elland Road to take on Leeds United on Sunday afternoon, manager Neil Harris has confirmed.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference (15 March), the Lions boss has confirmed that Kevin Nisbet, Tom Bradshaw and Aidomo Emakhu will all miss the game through injury.
But there was more positive news as Wes Harding could return after illness, with Millwall looking to become the first team to beat Leeds at Elland Road this season.
Leeds United boost for must-win game v Millwall
It’s not often that a team near the top of the table have must-win matches at this stage of the season, but if the Whites want to secure the title that is exactly what this match is.
With Leicester City in FA Cup action against Chelsea this weekend, Leeds have a chance to really put pressure on the Foxes in the title race by claiming a win on Sunday and moving to the top of the league.
It’s a huge u-turn in fortunes from the end of 2023 when Leicester were double-digit points clear at the top and pundits were already planning their parade and celebrating their promotion.

By claiming the victory over a weakened Millwall, Farke will put his side in the driver’s seat despite the fact they will have played a game more in the title race.
Leeds have been given a major advantage heading into the game and they must now make the most of it in what will be a difficult fixture regardless.
