Leeds United managerial target Jesse Marsch received offers from 5-6 leagues in 2022
Jesse Marsch had reportedly received job offers from five to six leagues before making his decision to join Leeds United.
According to ITV, the former RB Leipzig manager received these offers since the start of 2022, but snubbed them in order to wait for the right project
The American coach was tipped to succeed Marcelo Bielsa at the end of the season.

However, due to results against Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur and the manner of those defeats, the Argentine found his position at Elland Road untenable.
Right one for the job?
The merits of appointing Marsch can be debated long until the end of the season.
While he would arrive with a distinct attacking style like Bielsa, he’s clearly not a serial winner or a results oriented manager.
His recent stint at Leipzig ended in failure and appeared to be over sooner than it even began.
The club hierarchy will be aware of the sort of responsibility that anyone succeeding Bielsa will be under.

Not only will they have to get a tune of the players, but do so quickly as Leeds are facing a very real threat of relegation.
Hopefully, he turns out to be the right one and the club could then sign the kind of players he wants in the summer.
Given the games played, Leeds may very well find themselves in the drop zone once the teams below them play their matches in hand.
